Brand To Know: Dé Rococo
The Story
Launched in 2017, Israel-based influencer Romy Spector created Dé Rococo with the aim of designing wardrobe essentials and statement pieces for women “seeking a timeless yet edgy approach to style.” Thanks in part to Spector’s 144k-strong Instagram following, the brand has grown quickly, both online and in person, culminating in a slick physical retail presence in Tel Aviv.
The Look
Tapping into a slower, less trend-driven approach to fashion, Dé Rococo focuses on classic silhouettes, clean lines, and the core parts of a capsule wardrobe. Think simple resort wear, tailoring and loungewear in a predominantly neutral colour palette, all of which is designed to be worn for seasons to come. The brand is best known for its swimwear, which blends contemporary design styles (think high leg bottoms and bustier cups) with muted colourways. But beyond swimsuits and beachy sarongs, Dé Rococo’s everyday wear is not to be missed either – whether it’s boxy suiting, a one shoulder dress or a basic vest, each piece is created with longevity in mind, ignoring anything too ‘of the moment’ so you’ll be able to wear it for years to come.
The Need To Know
Though based in Israel, Dé Rococo ships worldwide with a flat rate of $35 (around £25), or free if you spend over $180 (around £130). Customs charges are likely, which is now the case with many brands shipping from abroad, but the quality of the pieces more than justify the investment. Plus, the brand launches a 20% off sale this Thursday, so if you’ve got your eye on something, there's a chance to snap it up for less.
