I love a quirky heel and this Cult Gaia pair are the perfect way to make even the simplest of summer outfits that more exciting. The orb-like heel is a guaranteed talking point.

I'm a sucker for a pretty dress and this tiered style stopped me in my tracks. Naya Rea's hyper-feminine designs have been on my radar for a while and this new summer piece is one to go back to time and again.

Another dress, yes, but how could I resist this Isabel Marant piece? Add sandals now and long boots and a big navy blazer as the seasons change.

Andion is the brand everyone's talking about and whether you play into the prairie trend and add dungarees or keep things cool by adding clashing fabrics, this hero top is surprisingly versatile.

My sunglasses collection is embarrassingly large, but nothing completes an outfit more at this time of year. These cat eye styles are great for an injection of glam.

Les Coyotes De Paris is one of those go-to French brands that’s a little more under the radar – think Isabel Marant with a more affordable price tag. This oversized, exaggerated collar top is such a summer staple, as the linen fabric is perfect for warmer weather.

It's a bit of an investment, but ever since I saw this Gabriela Artigas ring on Instagram I can’t stop thinking about it. The shape is incredible and it’s such a cool, statement design – maybe one day I’ll treat myself.

I know basket bags are to summer what florals are to spring, but I love the shape of this one from Sézane. A lot of basket style bags can be quite rigid, but this one's a little more relaxed. The scallop edging round the top is really sweet, too.

I’ve been on the hunt for a pair of balloon jeans for a while and I’ve not been able to find quite the right fit – until now. I was pleasantly surprised by these ones from Massimo Dutti, which are so soft. I’ll be wearing them with the hem rolled up and a pair of pumps.

I recently popped into IRO on the hunt for event dresses and fell in love with so many pieces from the new collection. One of my highlights was this 80s-inspired mini, as the draped shoulders make it feel quite unique – it’s short, but would make a fun choice for a summer wedding.

Aussie brand Dissh is a new discovery, but one I’m glad I came across – I’d probably wear almost all of their pieces. This linen top is next on my list – I’m a sucker for a high neckline and puff sleeves and it’ll look amazing with light wash denim.

Speaking of denim, I recently invested in a pair of Agolde’s Pinch Waist jeans. They’re the perfect fit if you’ve got a smaller waist and wider hips like me. I was pleased to see the style also comes in a longer short, which I’ll likely snap up next.

When it comes to anklets, more is more in my opinion. I’ve already got a couple from Missoma, but I’ll be adding to my gold collection with this colourful option next. Anklets make any look feel a bit more relaxed, so I’ll be wearing it with a dress and heels (and hopefully a tan once the sun comes out).

French brand Polène has some seriously beautiful bags at very fair prices. I have this style in tan, but was very close to getting it in chalk – both of which are perfect for summer. It’s got a slouchy shape and is just the right size – roomy enough to carry all your essentials, but not so large that it feels cumbersome.

Upcycled quilted jackets are another of my latest obsessions – if the British weather insists on forcing me to bring an extra layer, I’m going to make it as pretty as possible. Wildfolk Studio is a small, British brand that makes patchwork coats made from reclaimed textiles and vintage quilts. I’ve set my alarm reader for their next drop so I can snap one up.

Black strappy sandals are my go-to at this time of year and these Massimo Dutti ones look far more expensive then they are. I wear them with everything, from ruffled dresses to fluid wide-leg trousers.

I’m always on the hunt for new bracelets to add to my collection and I love this one by Mejuri. It’s classic, delicate and a lot more personal thanks to the initial detail.

I live in jeans, and this style by The Attico come with a great fit and wash. They’ll obviously work at the weekend, but I’ll be wearing them with black loafers and a structured blazer for a smart/casual office look.

Khaite is a brand I love more and more with every collection. An off-the-shoulder neckline is really flattering on me, while the puff sleeves give this top a glamourous edge. Just add jeans and strappy heels for a chic date night look.

This dress is such a staple. Linen is one of my favourite fabrics to wear in the summer and I just love the simplicity of the design. The strappy back adds interest, and worn with black tie up sandals, it’s the perfect warm-weather look.
