Eccleston Place by Tart London
Top caterer Tart London (aka Lucy Carr-Ellison and Jemima Jones) will be popping up at Eccleston Yards, showcasing its upcoming venture alongside a large screen showing Wimbledon and Pimm’s and cocktails by The Rum Runner. The pop-up will offer fresh smoothies for breakfast and seasonally topped bruschetta and refreshing gazpachos for lunch. Signature strawberries and cream will, of course, be on the menu for dessert.

Lanes of London
Lanes of London has devised two special Wimbledon desserts, available as part of its all-day menu. ‘The Turf’ is a white chocolate dome filled with a creamy chocolate centre, and topped with pistachio, basil and strawberries, while ‘Strawberries & Cream’ is a cream trifle with champagne jelly and strawberries. The restaurant will also be serving a Wimbledon afternoon tea, using British ingredients and floral flavours: think Earl Grey and raisin scones and blow-torched elderflower, gin and lime marshmallow.

Brigadiers
This summer, newcomer Brigadiers (from the team behind Xu, Bao and Hoppers) will be showing live sport throughout its seven-roomed venue. The sporting events making it to the big screen include the FIFA World Cup, the Grand Prix and, most excitingly, the Wimbledon semi-finals and finals. Groups wanting to make a real occasion of watching the tennis can book into one of the restaurant’s private dining rooms (they all have screens) for a full Indian feast.

Luxury private members’ club Home House has launched a ‘Men’s Final’ offer for both members and non-members. The package will offer an overnight stay and a set champagne lunch for two in the Garden (burrata with charred nectarine and heirloom tomato panzanella; wild sea bass with salsa verde; and strawberry and clotted cream ice lollies), followed by a live screening of the last day of action at Wimbledon (fingers crossed Murray makes it). Free-flowing Moët & Chandon will be on hand to toast the winner.

West End pan-Asian restaurant PF Chang’s Asian Table has created a sweet serve in celebration of this year’s Wimbledon tournament. Made in the downstairs pastry lab and available throughout the competition, the Grand Slam Wimbledon includes fresh strawberries and cream with meringue, a white chocolate tennis racket and macaroon tennis ball. Inventive.

Pomona’s
Out on its new-look terrace, Pomona’s will be just the spot for tennis fans to grab a glass of bubbly or ‘Summer Spritz’ cocktail while watching Wimbledon on the big screen (tables and areas for supporters can be reserved on the terrace in advance). The restaurant will also be serving up a cooling Wimbledon-themed dessert of Pimm’s jelly with cucumber sorbet.

All the action from the Championships will be screened live at St James’s Market for the full two weeks of Wimbledon. Located in the newly built pedestrian courtyard, there’ll be a giant screen, rows of deckchairs and festive decorations to set the scene. Local restaurants in St James’s Market (think Aquavit and Duck & Waffle Local) will be serving on their terraces and will have a number of special Wimbledon incentives on offer.

The Dorchester
The Dorchester will serve its annual Wimbledon afternoon tea at The Promenade for the duration of the Championships. Executive Chef Henry Brosi and his award-winning pastry team have created exclusive pastries for the occasion, including the ‘Wimbledon Tennis Sponge’ (made with lemon verbena, strawberry, white chocolate and cream ganache) which will be accompanied by a glass of champagne, strawberries and cream, finger sandwiches and homemade scones.

Le Restaurant de Paul
French patisserie Paul has a number of celebratory desserts in honour of this year’s tennis. In its City and Covent Garden restaurants, the team will serve a pud comprised of layers of fresh strawberries, ice cream, sweet meringue and cream. Across its cafes, there’ll be the ‘Strawberry & Cream Frappé’ (crushed Madagascan vanilla macaron, fresh milk and cream, strawberry purée and fresh strawberries); the ‘Tennis Choux’ (fresh strawberries and sweet crème pâtissière sandwiched between a choux pastry bun); and the ‘Grand Slam Lemon Tartlet’, a sweet shortcrust pastry case filled with lemon cream.
