"I love playing with new make-up formulas and tones and the change in seasons is a perfect time to test things out. Take Charlotte Tilbury’s setting spray, for example: the original is a staple but I’ll be switching to this matte version, especially as I find that central heating brings out the oiliness in my skin. When it comes to colour, I’ll keep some perky pink on my cheeks to brighten up my complexion, but also add some more autumnal tones via Bobbi Brown’s  shadow stick and this browny-red lip colour which, despite being matte, feels so comfortable on."

"It’s a bit of a cliché but I’m unapologetic: you can’t beat soft, earthy browns for autumn. The creamy eye pencil by Irish label Hildun is really underrated. I love it nestled into the lash line and gently buffed out with a smudger brush for subtle, day-appropriate smoke. Paired with brown lashes, the effect is so pretty (my weapon of choice is Sculpted By Aimee’s  MyMascara). On the lips, I’m all about velvety textures right now, and Givenchy’s  new launch also gives the illusion of added volume. Finally, cream blush is for life, not just for summer! I rely on it constantly to add vitality and dimension. Simihaze’s  ‘Marigold’ is the most beautiful, rich terracotta – perfect on olive and darker skin tones."

“As the weather cools, my skin needs all the hydration and nourishment it can get, and good make-up can help with giving you a bit more glow. I loved this Refy  highlighter all summer but this season I’ll be mixing it into fuller-coverage foundations to sheer them out and add luminosity. Elsewhere, the Rhode  blushers are a mainstay, and this is the shade I reach for when autumn rolls around – the same goes for my YSL  lip oil. Finally, the Hourglass  palettes are endlessly useful, and this one has the kind of versatile shades that work for both day and night.”
