Total Time
40 Minutes
Ingredients
135g of unsalted butter
150g of dark chocolate, broken into pieces + 50g for drizzling
3 eggs
350g of light brown sugar
130g of plain flour
30g of cocoa powder
6 bars of Kinder Bueno (12 fingers)
Equipment Needed
Large microwavable mixing bowl
Wooden spoon or spatula
Parchment-lined 20cm x 20cm square tin
Spoon for drizzling
Knife for portioning
Method
Step 1

Preheat the oven to 160°C (Fan).

Step 2

Put the butter and 150g of dark chocolate in the large microwavable bowl and melt it in the microwave in 10-second intervals, being careful not to burn it.

Step 3

Add in the sugar and combine with a wooden spoon or spatula before adding the eggs, followed by the flour and cocoa powder, stirring until there’s no lumps.

Step 4

Pour half of the brownie batter into the lined 20cm tin and spread evenly. Take 4 Kinder Bueno bars (8 fingers) and lay them on top of the batter.

Step 5

Pour the remaining batter on top and spread to cover the Kinder Buenos.

Step 6

Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, then remove, break up the remaining 2 Kinder Buenos into segments and push gently into the top of the brownie, return the brownie to the oven for the last 10 minutes.

Step 7

Allow to cool completely before melting the remaining 50g of dark chocolate, drizzling over the top and portioning into squares.
