A running challenge like no other, this year’s Adidas City Run is you against the clock – simply run as far as you can in one hour around an epic closed road route, past some of central London’s most famous landmarks. Finishing with a total distance instead of a finish time, this’ll be an hour of running unlike any you’ve experienced before. How far will you go?

Royal Parks Half Marathon
One of the capital’s most popular half marathons, this autumnal route winds through four of London’s Royal Parks. The ballot has closed but charity places are still up for grabs – or team up with at least three of your colleagues to get your company involved and boost team spirit.

AJ Bell London Triathlon
With female triathlon participation continuing to surge in the UK, be one of the 14,000 triathletes taking part in the AJ Bell London Triathlon, the largest competition of its kind in the world. Whether you’re a first-timer or triathlon pro, the race is for all abilities from around the globe to swim, bike and run around the spectacular route. Distances range from Super Sprint to Olympic Plus, but snap to it as places sell out quickly.

Great North Run
Got the running bug? It’s not too late to sign up for a charity place in this year’s iconic Great North Run, a 13.1-mile course lined with supporters all the way from the Tyne Bridge right out towards the stunning coastline in South Shields. All participants are invited to a complimentary pasta party the day before too.

Salomon Sunset Series
If you love running but hate the monotony of the treadmill, check out the Salomon Sunset Series, a lineup of four 10k routes dotted across the country designed to reconnect you with nature. Starting at around 5pm on selected dates across the summer, these trail runs allow you to choose your own path, before reaching the final viewpoints at the end to catch the sunset. This summer’s line-up will include runs in Box Hill and Edinburgh.

LoveFit 2018
Three days and nights of adrenaline-inducing fitness classes and afterparties with sets from the hottest DJs around, LoveFit 2018 is the fitness festival everyone’s talking about.
