The start of a new season is always the most exciting time to refresh my wardrobe. My obsession with barrel-leg leather trousers is still going strong and this season I’m looking for a chocolate brown pair that will work well with my existing wardrobe. I’m also investing in a burgundy leather t-shirt. Accessories remain central to my personal style and I couldn’t resist picking up an oversized, tortoiseshell pair of sunglasses. To play with texture, a snakeskin bag and mock-croc heels are at the top of my list. At this time of year, I’m particularly drawn to earthy tones but colour will always feature – the oversized blazer and wool miniskirt are enough to give me my dopamine hit.

I’m well and truly ready for autumn – hence the excessive amount of brown and suede currently sitting in my basket. This Zara suede jacket is top of the list: the funnel neck is a shape I’ve been seeing everywhere and it looks so good with a pair of wide-leg tailored trousers. Elsewhere, tinted or blue-light glasses have become a bit of a styling hack for me – they add that little bit of interest. I’ve also got my eye on the Miu Miu leather tote. I invested in the larger cord version last year and didn’t regret it for a second – it’s the perfect work bag that also fits a laptop, so I think it might be time to pull the trigger again. Finally, I’m leaning into silver more than ever this season. This Tissot watch has that perfect mix of timeless style and modern edge – exactly the kind of piece that elevates everything else.

At this time of year, I’m always drawn to new knitwear and the high street has some great options – highlights for me include this Massimo cardigan and this V-neck Mango number. These Dune London shoes also caught my eye – the look is so cosy and I love the subtle stud detail. I am keen to investment in a new belt this season, and this TOTEME style is high on my wish list. Finally, Reformation has just launched jewellery and I’m always drawn to the kind of statement earring like the Estelle style.

As we head into the new season, I’m leaning into pieces that offer both versatility and impact. Leather shorts are my go-to AW25 staple – perfect for styling with chunky knits and knee-high boots. I’m also adding a pale pink sheer skirt from COS to my wardrobe; I already have it in blue and love it, so this softer hue will be a great addition – especially with rich burgundy and chocolate brown, a colour combo I’m really into right now. I’m also on the lookout for a new leather bomber but this time I want to branch out from my usual black and brown. The khaki version from The Frankie Shop has really caught my eye – it’s the perfect shade and has just the right amount of oversized slouch that I love.

This season, my mission is to find pieces that will elevate my everyday staples – a pair of mock-croc kitten heel boots that work hard from day to night, dark denim with a horseshoe silhouette and grey knits are all part of the mix. Right now, I'm really loving alpaca textures or a scarf-style neckline for added interest. I’ve also fallen for a new bag from YoumnA – a brand I recently discovered. Born in Lebanon and handcrafted in Italy, the designs feel timeless, thoughtful and very quiet luxury.

September always feels like a fresh start. One of my best investments last year was a Déhanche belt – it instantly elevated every outfit. Chocolate brown tones and tassels are forever staples in my autumn/winter wardrobe, so I know this By Malene Birger scarf will work hard with the knitwear and jackets I already own. For outerwear, Maje is always my go-to. The cost-per-wear speaks for itself and this new jacket adds just the right touch of glamour to my winter line-up.
