I’m still firmly in holiday shopping mode, so everything in my basket right now has long-haul getaways and European city breaks in mind. I’m always drawn to versatile pieces that work just as well on a beach holiday as a city break – and this Missoni dress ticks every box. The yellow Maygel Coronel swimsuit is a standout – plus, it doubles up as a body with high-waisted denim shorts. I’m constantly on the hunt for the perfect gold hoops, and the Jewells ones feel fresh yet timeless. Gold hardware sandals are becoming a repeat buy for me – they’re basically jewellery for your feet and elevate even the simplest of summer looks. Finally, the lime green bag from River Island adds just the right amount of colour – playful, punchy and guaranteed to pull every outfit together.

There are so many pretty, high summer pieces that have caught my eye recently, including these printed Posse shorts, which can be worn as a set with the matching cami or with a plain white t-shirt. Similarly, this printed sarong by Second Summer has been in my basket for a few weeks now, which I want to treat myself to for my trip to Italy. I am loving gingham right now and this bikini by Peony is high on my wish list too; I love the quality of this brand. I enjoyed wearing collarless blazers during the spring, and this linen style from H&M is also in my basket. Finally, I just discovered this shoe brand on Instagram called Matisse; the designs are really chic and simple, and these red ones have caught my eye.

Crochet shorts are probably my most-worn summer piece, and recently, I’ve had my eye on this nautical-inspired pair from Anna Kosturova. I’ll be teaming them with a ribbed white tank and simple sandals for a relaxed holiday look. Sticking with the holiday theme – whenever I travel, I tend to do a lot of sightseeing and walking, so I need shoes that are stylish without compromising on comfort. With a natural raffia finish and flat cushioned sole, these espadrille flip flops are the perfect all-day shoe. They’re incredibly versatile – they go with everything from linen trousers to maxi dresses. I'm always on the lookout for staple pieces with a twist, and this metallic sarong from Mango is currently top of my list. While it’s ideal for beach holidays or poolside lounging, I’d save it for a chic evening look. I'd team it with a satin halter-neck top, statement gold earrings and a colourful clutch for maximum impact. Summer accessories are the perfect excuse to lean into more playful, textured pieces – and this season, fish-inspired jewellery is having a moment. This red cord necklace adds a touch of colour and personality without going overboard, while this woven tote adds that effortless, boho feel that works just as well in the city as it does on holiday.

My basket is full of bold, fun pieces that feel perfect for summer parties and holidays. I’m loving this amazing silver fringed skirt from ASOS – it’s party-ready but still easy to wear with a simple white t-shirt. I love a statement top and this one from Andrea Iyamah is in the perfect powder pink, which is my colour of the season. I’ve also added an oversized pair of pearl and gold earrings from Mango – ideal for finishing off any summer event look.

My basket’s all about cool cult summer buys – pieces that feel effortless but still make a statement. I’m eyeing up a beige knotted top from Source Unknown (it’ll go with everything), a pair of loose white Jacquemus trousers for relaxed summer polish, and the oversized sculptural Eviana earrings from Cult Gaia for some drama. It’s all in the balance between laidback and luxe. I also love these blue heels from Zara – they are giving serious designer vibes without the price tag.

Right now, I’m all about cool, elevated staples with a twist. First up are the new Loewe cat-eye sunglasses – the slightly bolder frame gives them that statement edge, while still feeling classic. I’m also leaning into the lace trend with this very pretty Dôen top. Circular bags are everywhere this season, and I love how the shape instantly makes any outfit feel more current. I’ve already got these Yaitte trousers in black (I love the relaxed, wide fit), but I'm now eyeing up the white – they’re such a versatile summer piece. Finally, broderie-trim shorts: they’re pretty, practical and perfect for everything from city days to beach trips.
