Autumn/winter is without a doubt my favourite season to dress for – I’ve always had a thing for statement coats and this time of year gives me every excuse to wear them. I naturally gravitate towards great footwear, and the boots from August Barron are at the top of my list – they’ll elevate everything I already own. For knitwear, I always lean into neutral tones that layer well and feel timeless. Comfort is key, so I always make space in my wardrobe for polished loungewear – think soft sweatpants and classic ballet pumps. My style mantra has always been simple: easy-going but considered.

My autumn/winter wish list is a considered mix of staples I know I’ll wear on repeat – ankle boots, classic knitwear and a few trend-led pieces will give my wardrobe a seasonal reset. I’m loving red cords and animal print this year – pieces that feel fun but still fit into my lifestyle. A leopard print coat is my ultimate style shortcut: throw it over jeans, a tee and loafers and you’ve got an easy, pulled-together look. Malene Birger’s shearling one is top of my list! Róhe’s red cords have me hooked – the styling is spot on, especially when they’re paired with soft greys and white. I’m also eyeing up a suede jacket – ARKET’s deep brown version with its contrasting collar feels like a timeless layering piece. As always, a low-heeled ankle boot is a staple for me – perfect with straight-leg jeans and a chunky knit.

Autumn is one of my favourite seasons to dress for – it’s all about that effortless mix of smart and casual. A long wool coat is an absolute essential; it has the power to elevate even the most casual look. I love throwing it over a tracksuit, adding a luxe bag and a cap – it’s the kind of combination that feels relaxed but still put-together. A statement knit is another must-have, and the colours in this Massimo Dutti jumper  makes it easy to pair with blue or white denim, cream wool trousers or neutral tailoring. For a more elevated take, I’ll style it with leather trousers or a skirt. A classic brown boot is something I always come back to – timeless, practical and endlessly wearable.

As we head into AW25, I’m continuing to build a wardrobe full of timeless, considered pieces I know I’ll wear for years to come. Rather than leaning into fleeting trends, I’m focusing on elevated essentials – think beautifully cut leather, luxe denim and classic accessories that add polish to everyday looks. Autumn/winter in London is all about layering with intent, and I like even my chicest, most pulled-together looks to also be practical – it’s these versatile combinations that make getting dressed so much easier. For me, investment pieces aren’t just about longevity, they’re the foundation of a confident, wearable wardrobe.

These in-between seasonal moments are my favourite. I love layering cosy items over my most-worn summer pieces or pairing lighter items with winter staples – it feels like such a natural, effortless way to dress. Right now, suede is having a serious moment. I’m planning to invest in some slides from The Row, which I’ll style with stonewash or black denim and neutral jumpers. There’s also a cocoon jacket from St Agni on my radar – it’s a little smarter but I like the idea of it giving my more lived-in pieces an elevated refresh.
