High-Street Jackets
The high street is delivering excellent jackets right now – from real suede at Pull & Bear to a smart black tailored style at Massimo. I’m especially into the button detail, while Mango’s oversized faux leather silhouette feels like the outerwear shape of the season.
The Co-Ord
Season after season, I find myself drawn to the ease of a co-ord. This new chocolate brown set from Citizens Of Humanity is spot on – I’d style it with black ballet pumps for the office.
The Pretty Dress
I’m enjoying the return of femininity, especially Chloé’s pretty pink pieces. This Mango dress captures that mood beautifully – and at an accessible price point.
The Fair Isle
It may feel early, but fair isle knits are already everywhere. This Róhe style is an investment, but one that will earn its place year after year.
The Suede Accessories
Suede isn’t going anywhere – and I couldn’t be happier. Miu Miu’s latest pair has shot straight to the top of my wish list, and after the success of my black Flattered boots last season, the suede iteration feels like the obvious upgrade.
The Party Piece
Reformation consistently nails occasionwear. This sequin dress strikes the perfect balance – statement-making without feeling over the top.
The Shearling Jacket
At this time of year, I’m always drawn to shearling. I’ve a gap in my wardrobe for a jacket, and the boxy Ralph Lauren design feels just right.
Polo Knits
The striped polo shirt trend owes much to Miu Miu – and it shows no sign of fading. As someone with a pared-back style, I love the subtle interest a striped version brings. I’ve ordered this Mango one, while the Loulou de Saison remains firmly on my wish list.
The Red Bag
I’ve had my eye on Little Liffner’s bucket bags for some time – this deep-red mini is such a chic take, and I can never resist a little bag.
The Plaid Shirt
I recently invested in this With Nothing Underneath plaid shirt. It has that perfect vintage feel, and it’s endlessly versatile – equally good for weekend denim or office tailoring.
