This bank holiday, I am spending time with my family and we will be heading to the coast. I like layering a swimsuit with striped shorts and a simple t-shirt – but I'll always take a warm jumper with me too. For accessories, a simple basket bag like this boxy one from Sensi Studio is ideal, and I'm also loving my metal frame sunglasses from Jimmy Fairly.

This weekend, I’m soaking up the calm of a quieter London – dividing my time between a little shopping, long walks through the city’s green spaces and stopping off at favourite local restaurants. With that in mind, my look needs to be practical but still chic. I'm enjoying the slightly cooler weather, so I’ll be reaching for a cosy cardigan worn over a simple tank, paired with pleated denim shorts from COS – an effortless combination that feels city-appropriate. Comfortable shoes are a must and these white ballet flats from By Far are a staple in my wardrobe. I’m loving ARKET's oversized tote too – it's giving The Row but at a fraction of the price.

Every August bank holiday – come rain or shine – you’ll find me at Notting Hill Carnival, the best weekend in London’s summer calendar. Luckily, the forecast is looking bright again this year, so these yellow racer shorts are a failsafe choice. The ruching detail on the red top is really flattering and I’ve paired it with a green bag and black kitten heels for comfort. Together, the colours form the Ghanaian flag – an intentional nod to my heritage and a perfect fit for such a culturally rich celebration. For accessories, I’ve added a printed scarf, oversized sunglasses and gold earrings to complete the look.

I’m heading to Spain for the bank holiday, so I wanted something easy but chic – a gingham one-piece with a crisp cotton-poplin maxi skirt is the perfect combo to throw on for lunch. Tortoiseshell sunnies, a beaded mini tote, jelly flip flops and a pearl-and-shell necklace keep it playful.
