I find the easiest way to pack for a trip like this it to build a capsule wardrobe and then add some accessories to keep things interesting. My fundamentals at the moment, which can be layered on or off depending on the weather, include grey separates – specifically my much-worn knit from Róhe Frames and tailored trousers from COS – and a hard-working brown suit from Atelier Ninety Five. I just bought some brown low-rise cords from Topshop, so combined with a couple of plain tees (mine are always SKIMS) and a few brown accents, I had a strong selection of pieces to mix and match.

I also packed one great night-time outfit which could also be mixed with my other pieces. Black satin trousers roll up nice and small into hand luggage and I knew this new jacket from Aussie brand Onte would work whatever the vibe of the restaurant. White heels are my failsafe if I don't know what I'm wearing – I knew whatever I selected for our Brown Thomas event, these Gianvito Rossis would work.

“We were lucky enough to be graced with glorious weather in Dublin which meant it was easy to pack light. I went with a mixture of co-ords and dresses that I knew would require minimal effort for busy days and evenings but still make maximum impact. I always like to look my best at the airport, so I chose this black drop-waist dress from ASOS with zebra print kitten heels from Topshop for comfort and a pink oversized leather jacket from The Frankie Shop. It was the perfect look to hit the ground running for filming in Brown Thomas when we arrived in Dublin.

“For dinner on our first evening, I wore a red knitted midi dress from Kitri with a matching cardigan and cream netted mules from Zara. It’s a look I recently styled for Friday Fashion Fix at SheerLuxe. My night-time skincare routine included my hero products: Clinique’s Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm, REN’s Clean Skincare Ready Steady Glow Daily AHA Tonic and my Human Race moisturiser

“As we’re still very much marathon training, Polly and I were up bright and early the next day to go for a run. I wore my lululemon blue leggings, bra top and white trainers. For the second day, I packed one of my newest co-ords – the blue striped shirt and full skirt set from ARKET has become an instant favourite. It’s super lightweight and the skirt has an elasticated waistband – very handy for the giant brunch we ate at Veda. My Fenty Gloss Bomb Oil is the only beauty item I have on me at all times. Later, I wore my second co-ord of the day for dinner after our Brown Thomas event. The pyjama-style silky trousers and boxy top made for a relaxed fit. I’m obsessed with the geometric print and seeing as I’m a big fan of clashing prints, I teamed it with my zebra print Topshop heels.

“For our last day, I wanted to be as comfortable and given how much we ate during the trip, my A-line black maxi dress from Mango fit the bill. I added a pop of colour with my red heels from Zara.”

“These pink bermuda shorts from COS worked hard for me on the trip. I dressed them down with loafers and a sweatshirt in the daytime, then switched to a blazer, or the matching waistcoat, with heels for dinners out. Continuing the pink theme, I also packed some baby pink, wide-leg trousers which were comfy enough to travel in, smart enough to wear to meetings and, crucially, lightweight enough for warmer weather. I only packed one bag besides my carry-on suitcase, which was this brown woven leather bag by Dragon Diffusion. It’s perfect for travel as it fits so much but it also worked well for sightseeing.

“I was lucky enough to wear an incredible green Phoebe Philo suit to host the event for Brown Thomas. A suit always makes me feel put-together, but this one was next level. I was gutted to give it back.

“With only a carry-on suitcase, l had to be strict on liquids, but my M·A·C Studio Radiance Foundation made the cut as it delivers on both coverage and glow – ideal for long days and early starts. I never go anywhere without the ByEllie Brow Tips either. It's double ended with a felt tip for brush strokes, plus a pencil for filling and shaping. "

“Seeing as I was filming for behind-the-scenes throughout the trip, comfort was key. My Massimo Dutti loafers were a failsafe – elegant enough to elevate any outfit, but practical enough for long filming days.

“Travel-wise, I kept things streamlined. The Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask, noise-cancelling headphones, and a cosy SKIMS crewneck made the flight more comfortable. A good co-ord is always my secret weapon when packing light, and a new COS set helped me look instantly pulled-together; I also mixed and matched it throughout the trip to get the most out of my carry-on wardrobe. Another COS saviour, I wore these elasticated satin trousers with a baggy white t-shirt and then dressed them up with a black bandeau top in the evening. Naturally, I also wanted to spotlight some brilliant Irish brands. I lived in a cool denim jacket from Sinead Keary and layered up my go-to jewellery from One Dame Lane and Gabsluk. Both pieces earned their compliments and worked with everything I packed.

“When it comes to beauty for work trips, I tend to keep it minimal and dependable. Dove’s Gradual Tan gave me a subtle glow with zero effort, and I relied on one multitasking hero: a Rose Inc lipstick. It works across cheeks, lips and eyes – perfect for quick touch-ups while filming."

This was my first time in Dublin, so I was buzzing but determined not to overpack. The main event was at Brown Thomas, where I wore a sheer white maxi skirt from H&M with Bridget-Jones-style knickers underneath. It’s something I’ve never really been brave enough to wear before but it did land on just the right side of polished. I styled it with a deep burgundy Zara knit and a classic pair of red pumps.

“I live in loafers. My current favourites are from Sézane, which felt perfectly suited for a browse around the Trinity College grounds. In the daytime, I also wore a crisp white COS tee, my favourite turquoise Peachy Den skirt, a cropped ASOS jacket and a pair of fluffy burgundy socks. My Timeless Pearly bag charms (on my Self-Portrait bag) have become a signature accessory.

“Beauty-wise, I like to keep things light and glowy. I don’t wear foundation – a dab of the L’Oréal Glotion gives me the even tone and subtle sheen I need to feel put-together. The Rhode lip liner in ‘Lean’ is the perfect everyday colour too.”
