As we settle into AW25, a few standout pieces are making their way onto my radar. First up, a pair of burgundy flats from Zara – somewhere between a slipper and a loafer, they're the kind of chic staple that elevate even the simplest of looks. This cream funnel-neck maxi coat from The Frankie Shop is another hero – clean, minimal and seriously versatile. Leather shorts are another go-to for me and right now I’m looking for looser silhouettes to pair with crew-neck knits and knee-high boots – a simple but polished formula. Finally, long gloves are having a real moment – ultra-chic with oversized winter coats and the easiest way to add a directional edge as the temperature drops.

I’m leaning into pieces with a bit more flair at the moment. First in my basket: the Magda Butrym silk organza bodysuit. For night-out tops, Selezza’s tulle blouse is so fun, while H&M’s leopard-print turtleneck will add some drama – leopard is everywhere right now. Accessory-wise, I’m eyeing the Amalia patent slingbacks, some Gucci cat-eye sunglasses and Zara’s pearl necklace – worn together, it’s a great high/low mix. To finish it all off, Rowan Rose’s oversized raglan puffer is the statement coat I’ll be living in all season.

Top of my wish list right now is the Sandro suede jacket – the perfect blend of polish and edge. I love the structured silhouette, and sizing up will give it that effortlessly oversized feel. Tailored trousers remain one of my wardrobe staples and this chocolate-brown COS pair will work with everything from crisp shirts to relaxed knits. When it comes to accessories, I'm going for gold – slingback heels, a statement ring and an ear cuff. The St. Agni leather skirt deserves a special mention – its clean lines and flattering length make it a timeless piece I'll reach for season after season. You can never have too many blazers, and the & Other Stories style with its nipped-in waist is particularly flattering. Finally, I’m turning my attention to knitwear – the ARKET jumper is the perfect way to elevate your everyday look while keeping things cosy.

My wish list is always overflowing at this time of year – I have a real weakness for coats and knitwear. While I like to buy pieces that last, I can never resist a bit of newness. The high street is doing cashmere so well right now and this Zara crew neck looks seriously expensive. I’d be tempted to add some shoulder pads for a more directional office look, or keep it oversized and slouchy with white denim at the weekend. Collarless details are seriously chic and this chocolate-brown coat from Mango’s Selection range looks far more premium than its price tag suggests. I’m also loving all the cape details at the moment and this black fringed TOTEME style is top of my list. It also comes in cream but as a working mum, practicality is key – I know I could throw this on over anything and instantly feel more pulled together. My default shoe at this time of year is usually a heeled boot but I’m loving these animal-print ARKET boots as a minimalist nod to the trend. The white pumps from Neous are another standout – so good for smarter occasions. Speaking of events, a hard-working evening top is a must-have this season and I can’t believe how affordable this Ninety Percent one is. Finally, I’ve been searching for the perfect tuxedo shirt for party season – something timeless but with a twist – and I think I’ve found it in the new Alex Eagle x J.Crew collaboration.

This velvet co-ord has been on my wish list for a while and as the temperature drops, it feels like a great time to bite the bullet. The same philosophy applies to this wafty cape, which I can't wait to throw over my workwear looks. Also, every time I see this expensive-looking chocolate croc coat, I can't believe it's actually from M&S. I plan on wearing it with everything this season."
