Oversized Belted Raglan-Sleeve Wool-Blend Coat, £895 | Raey
This coat occupied my thoughts for months before I took the plunge and I have zero regrets! It's made from the most beautiful wool and I love the neckline, sleeves and ultra-long length. It's truly my dream coat.

Patricia O'Dwyer
Kia Oversized Wool Blend Coat, £129 | Weekday
I bought this in black last year and stand by the fact it’s the best coat on the high street. With its perfectly oversized fit, a nice heavy fabrication and a belted waist to add definition – it ticks every box. I’ve had my eye on the off-white colour lately – winter whites always look so polished.

Karina Marriott
Double-Faced Wool Belted Coat, £190 | COS
For me, COS is one of the best high-street brands when it comes to mastering shape and fit. They also last for years and there’s no denying how timeless they are. Everyone needs a camel coat in their wardrobe and this one is the perfect cut.

Anna Bromilow
I can never resist cream shearling in the winter. My rule is either go short or extremely long – I’m not into mid-lengths at the moment. Teddy coats can look bulky, so a belt is a good idea just to cinch it in at the waist a little. Either go all out with a full cream look or take this into the festive season with tartan and some fun crystal earrings.

Double-Breasted Premium 100% Leather Trench Coat, £445 | Novo London
I live in my trench coat in the transitional periods, but as it gets cooler, I need something a little thicker, so this Novo London leather trench is often my go-to. It’s an investment but the brand's ethos is so aligned with my own fashion philosophy – premium essentials that form the basis of a capsule wardrobe and deliver on cost per wear. Thrown over a cashmere knit, jeans and a pair of Converse, it will elevate even the simplest of outfits.

Marilyn Nwawulor-Kazemaks
Oversized Double-Face Coat, £149.99 | Mango
Shearling coats always come back around, and I love seeing what styles are new for winter. I tend to opt for longline over short as it works better with the rest of my wardrobe. This one would look amazing with jeans and chunky boots, and on extra cold days I would add a high-neck jumper.

Claudia Berresford
Boyfriend Slouch Coat, £85 | River Island
This is one of my best high-street finds under £100. The cut is very masculine, which I love, and the quality is amazing relative to the price. I love wearing it over a dress or with leather trousers and a cable knit.

Leather Shearling Mix Trench, £895 | Jigsaw
A classic trench with a modern twist, I love how this coat adds a bit of edge to an everyday look. Not only is it chic, it’s also multifunctional with a removable shearling collar, allowing you to create different looks depending on your mood.

Oversized Shearling Jacket, £1,540 | Totême
My Totême coat from last year is still one of my absolute favourites. It’s a classic shearling jacket with a slightly more modern edge to it. It’s also the perfect oversized fit and suits so many pieces in my existing wardrobe – which makes it so wearable. It’s also available in brown.
