The Fashion Team’s Favourite Summer Satin Looks

Satin is a summer go-to for me – especially for the evening. Whether I’m on holiday or home in London, it always feels effortless. I love the golden tone and tie detail of this Joseph suit – it’s the perfect mix of relaxed and polished. I’ll be styling it with gold jewellery, statement sunglasses and simple black sandals.

There’s something undeniably sexy about satin – especially in rich chocolate brown. I’m obsessed with this asymmetric Zara slip dress with its black lace trim. To make it slightly more casual, I've added a boxy black blazer. A splash of red from the mules gives it that some contrast, and a suede black bag and gold hoops tie everything together. 

Head-to-toe black in summer always feels cool and effortless. This Almada satin set is perfect for holiday evenings – the fluid silhouette drapes beautifully, creating a polished yet relaxed vibe. Just add minimal accessories – think subtle texture or a hint of metal detailing – to keep the look interesting without overpowering it.

I’ve had my eye on this satin maxi from Rebecca Vallance. The rich chocolate tone and lace embellishing add a luxurious touch. I’ll dress it up with a minimalist pair of strappy white sandals and some vintage-inspired earrings. Isla De Gar is one of my favourite brands at the moment and this ivory satin bag will add some texture without overwhelming the look. 

I bought a pair of satin shorts last summer and I’m loving wearing them again this year. I like to style mine with a linen shirt and either strappy heels or flats. For accessories, I would add this brown Rails shoulder bag and metal frame Miu Miu sunglasses.
