H&M New Conscious Collection Launches Today

It’s often H&M’s designer collaborations stealing the limelight, but there’s a new launch that’s got fashion girls heading for the checkout. The brand’s seventh Conscious Exclusive collection launches online and in store this morning, making sustainable style both cool and affordable – each piece is crafted from organic linen, cotton and silk; TENCEL®; recycled polyester; and, for the first time, ECONYL®, a 100% regenerated nylon fibre made from fishnets and other wastes.

Inspired by 19th-century Swedish interiors and crafts, the designs have wearable appeal, with a mottled green pattern – the core of the collection – adorning silk midi dresses, mini skirts and dramatic evening gowns. Summer-ready maxis and laser-cut lace blouses are year-round heroes, whilst a monochrome silk-blend kaftan gets our vote for everyday spring style. Plus, look to stand out accessories (we love the pointed satin mules) for sustainable fashion with designer-worthy details.

With supermodel Christie Turlington as the face of the campaign, and fashion heavyweights like Kate Bosworth already spotted in the looks, this is one affordable collection worth snapping up before it’s gone. Fast fashion with a conscience? Sounds good to us.
