The New Vitamin Skincare Range To Know

Studies show more of us are looking for clean, vegan formulas that deliver results – which is why Holland & Barrett’s first ever conscious skincare brand, VitaSkin, has caught our eye. Combining the powers of plumping vitamin A and glow-giving vitamin C in one powerhouse range, the products help to treat a number of skincare woes – from blackheads and clogged pores to spot-prone skin. Here’s what you need to know, including the four bestsellers worth a try...
CREATED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH HOLLAND & BARRETT

Holland & Barrett are a market leader in vitamins, so it seems fitting that their first clean, skincare brand – VitaSkin – is full of them.

Combining over 150 years of vitamin expertise with ingredients that are kinder to both your complexion and the planet, each product is as natural as possible, without compromising on efficacy.

The packaging is also sustainable, with each product made from recyclable glass and aluminium, so once you’ve finished your tube or bottle, you don’t have the usual throwaway guilt.

The VitaSkin C range is aimed at those keen to improve elastin and firmness, as well as anyone looking to lighten hyperpigmentation, while the VitaSkin A range is aimed at those that want to help boost skin cell turnover to improve tone for a visibly smoother and more refined complexion. Harnessing some of the best ingredients on the market – including geranium oils and olive squalane – each product visibly plumps and softens skin immediately.

Interested? From a rich cleansing balm to a glow-giving oil and gentle exfoliator for all complexion types, here are the four bestsellers…

Vitamin A Intense Cell Renewal Oil, £13.50 (was £18)

Best For: Reducing The Appearance Of Fine Lines

With high levels of retinol, this silky oil can be used underneath or on top of moisturiser to boost sluggish skin cells and increase collagen production. It works gradually to blur the appearance of pores and fine lines, while geranium oil tightens and smooths. Vitamin A combined with vitamin E, carrot seed oil, nourishing omega and botanical oils help promote smoother and visibly younger-looking skin.

Vitamin A Resurfacing Mask, £11.25 (was £15)

Best For: Brighter, Fresher-Looking Skin

Formulated with a blend of vitamins and natural botanicals, VitaSkin’s buttery mask uses retinol and carrot seed oil to keep skin plump and healthy-looking. Use it post-cleanse, and apply for 10-15 minutes before washing off with warm water. The unguent texture is highly satisfying and feels really luxurious, too. A great product to use if you suffer from spot-prone skin, enlarged pores or small blackheads.

Vitamin C Illuminating Oil, £13.50 (was £18)

Best For: Minimising Hyperpigmentation & Boosting Radiance

A lightweight, illuminating oil, this utilises the glow-giving benefits of vitamin C to improve the appearance of dullness, as well as age spots and hyperpigmentation. What’s more, olive squalane gives skin an extra boost of hydration for a more supple and smooth appearance. For best results, use a few drops on clean, dry skin, concentrating on the areas you want to treat. The non-sticky texture sinks in fast too, so you’re never left with any greasy residue – just an unbeatable radiance.

Vitamin C Gentle Daily Exfoliator, £12 (was £16)

Best For: Refining Pores & Evening Out Tone

Made from 100% biodegradable particles and nourishing oils, this gentle exfoliator cleanses and polishes the skin, leaving it feeling soft and completely refreshed. It’s incredibly delicate, so even those who love a good scrub won’t overdo it. Gently massage onto damp skin in circular motions to see the little beads unclog pores and blackheads, while ascorbyl glucoside (water soluble vitamin C) protects the skin from free radicals and oxidation. One of our favourites from the range.
