COLOURFUL FAUX LEATHERS

“Leather for autumn? Ground-breaking I know, but hear me out. if you’re like me and want something less obvious than leather trousers or a leather biker, a bright faux leather piece will do the trick. From jackets to trousers, tops to corsets, coloured pieces are everywhere right now. I picked up a sky-blue pair from Rotate a few months ago and have worn them on repeat with blazers, knitwear and tees. Plus, they’re somewhat waterproof, so they’re great for this changeable weather.”

“Cool and cosy, shearling jackets come back every season and the high street is awash with them right now – there’s bound to be one you love if it’s a trend you think could be for you. From cropped cuts to contrasting leather, I can't say no. Personally, I’m eyeing up Zara's brown leather jacket which has such details on the sleeves.”

“When you combine low-key leisurewear and a fleece, the Gen-Z gilet is born. I couldn't even wait until payday and have actually bought a Carhartt number already. Add some Adidas three-stripes and a pair of UGGs to create the perfect look for coffee runs and autumn walks.”

“At this point, I think of animal print as a bit of a staple in my autumn/winter wardrobe. This season, dip your toe into accessories like bags and scrunchies and, if you're feeling brave, go for a pair of printed jeans. Wear them with a white tee and an oversized blazer – I promise they're far more wearable than you think.”
