Current Obsession: Skinny Brows
Thin brows have been all over my FYP. Paying homage to 90s icons like Pamela Anderson, the likes of Gabbriette, Cindy Kimberly and Doja Cat have all jumped on the trend. While fluffy brows will have their place, thin eyebrows exude a kind of avant-garde flair. It’s definitely a move away from the girl-next-door, natural make-up aesthetic – and I’m keen to dip my toe in. Don’t fret though – I’ve been schooled in the dangers of an overzealous wax. Instead, I plan on experimenting by playing with concealer and eyebrow pencils to sculpt my brows into a new shape.

Current Obsession: Fashionable Sportswear
As someone who loves to run, I’ve enjoyed seeing how many more people are turning to it for both exercise and a mental escape. We’re also seeing more brands making style a priority when it comes to sportswear. Where once you could only really opt for sporty, functional styles – which didn't look all that cool – these days there’s a lot more on offer. Tech fabrications fused with fashion-forward silhouettes and details is something I’ve kept a close eye on. Materials like Gore-Tex are super popular right now, for example. Some of my personal favourite brands are Merrell, On, Pruzan, Nike Running, Free People, Adanola and the Stella McCartney x adidas collections.

Current Obsession: Scandi Interiors
Scandinavians are the masters of cool interiors – and if you haven't seen this trend all over Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest, you're missing out. Typically, the foundation of a Scandi-style home includes light, minimal woods, marbles and neutral fabrics. The décor is where most people introduce bright colours, unique glassware, lighting, fun prints and photography. Scandi Influencers such as Matilda Djerf and Anna Winck do this really well. Danish brands HAY and Søstrene Grene are two names to turn to if you want to get the look – they’re both super accessible here in the UK. With some digging, you’ll also find great pieces at H&M, Zara Home and ARKET. And if you ever find yourself in Copenhagen, Studio Arhoj is a must-visit.

Current Obsession: Miu Miu AW24
Miu Miu is killing it right now. It’s cool, feminine, sporty and right on the zeitgeist. As part of the AW24 show, Little Simz walked the runway, while Sydney Sweeney and Emma Corrin were guests of honour. I rated the styling this season, too. Miu Miu is great at creating pieces that go viral but a lot of it was still wearable – it gave me some fresh inspiration to switch up my everyday looks. I loved the neck-tie details – whether it was a neckerchief or simply my jumper tied around the neck. On the subject of Miu Miu, it’s also just launched its latest collab with New Balance – the second collection with the brand. While it’s out of my budget, it’s cool to appreciate. Plus, it’s further proof that dad shoes are on their way out…

Current Obsession: Tooth Jewellery
Initially popularised by artists like Slick Rick and Big Daddy Kane, tooth jewellery has evolved into a mainstream fashion statement, embraced by trendsetters such as SZA, Raye, and even gracing the album cover of Jorja Smith. It intertwines with the revival of Y2K fashion, offering a cool touch of nostalgia to any look. For those seeking a permanent change, tooth gems and gemstone patterns provide a striking way to update your look. On the other hand, temporary gemstone sticker styles offer a playful approach, allowing you to experiment with bold embellishments without commitment. Whether you prefer a subtle cool-girl vibe by styling a tooth gem with your everyday look or opt for a bold evening statement with a row of gold grillz paired with a timeless maxi dress, it's a daring way to add some individuality into your style.
