THE ALBUM DROP:
The Life Of A Showgirl
Today is a big day: Taylor Swift is back with her 12th studio album The Life Of A Showgirl. Written in Sweden with long-time pop hitmakers Max Martin and Shellback, it’s billed as a vibrant, glamorous departure from The Tortured Poets Department. Expect 12 tracks inspired by Swift’s life on the road – including lead single The Fate of Ophelia and a Sabrina Carpenter collab on the title track. THE DINING EXPERIENCE:
Punk Royale
Already a hit in Stockholm and Copenhagen, Punk Royale has landed in London with a tasting menu unlike anything else in the city. Phones are locked away, disco lights flash, the music is loud – this is no hushed fine dining experience. Over 18 courses, expect rich, surprising flavour bombs and plenty of booze, all delivered with a sense of chaos and fun. It’s on the more expensive side, but compared to London’s other tasting menus, the energy and entertainment value make it worth every penny. Go with friends, not first dates – and prepare for a couple of hours of pure madness.

THE FILM:
Frankenstein
Guillermo del Toro takes on Mary Shelley’s classic novel in what’s already one of the most talked-about films of the year. Starring Oscar Isaac as the ambitious scientist and Jacob Elordi as his tragic creation, Frankenstein blends gothic drama with sci-fi spectacle. Add in Mia Goth, Christoph Waltz, Charles Dance and, of course, Jacob Elordi, and the cast is as stacked as the visuals. After premiering at Venice in August, the film hits cinemas on 17th October before landing on Netflix in November – expect haunting storytelling, lavish sets and del Toro’s signature dark magic.
