10 Things To Do In London Under £10
BRING THE GIRLS TO A STAND-UP NIGHT
Top Secret Comedy Club is one of the cheapest ways to see top comedians in the capital. The trick is to buy tickets on the day you want to go – or make a donation to the club at the end of the night. Some pretty big names have played there over the years (including Michael McIntyre, Nish Kumar and Joanne McNally), but part of the fun is turning up to see who makes it on stage.
TOP TIP: If audience participation is your thing, get there early to sit at the front. Otherwise, nestle yourself in the middle to stay out of the comedian’s firing line!
PRICE: £5/£4 for students

TAKE PICS FROM CANARY WHARF’S ROOFTOP GARDEN
Now that Canary Wharf is on the Elizabeth Line, there’s no excuse not to visit the area’s newest rooftop garden. Ideal for a casual date, it’s one of the City’s largest rooftop gardens, filled with exotic plants from around the world. It sits almost exactly on the Meridian line, so the plants are arranged according to which hemisphere they’re from – think bamboos to the east and African ferns to the west. During the summer months, there are regular performances on the outdoor stage, so keep your eyes peeled for free events.
TOP TIP: Market Halls Canary Wharf is just a five-minute walk away and has plenty of budget-friendly options, including Pasta Evangelists which serves generous bowls of pasta for £9.50.
