The Fashion-Forward Car Launch To Know About
the CAR
The versatile all-electric Macan is designed for city living and longer journeys. Think of it as classic Porsche design reinterpreted for a younger, urban crowd – a sports car at heart that delivers all-terrain high performance.
The new Macan is the second generation of the brand’s successful SUV. If you’re looking for a luxe five-seater that isn’t afraid to show its personality on the looks front, this is it. The design has been sharpened inside and out. The new Macan is one of Porsche’s all-electric E-Performance models, making it a sustainable, forward-thinking choice of vehicle that doesn’t compromise on quality and luxury. The new Macan has up to 381 miles of range, which is ample even for road trips and staycations. Should you need to charge on the road, you can boost the battery from 10% to 80% in just over 20 minutes – just in time for a short coffee break.
Like any new Porsche, it can be suited to you. Offered in a range of cool, modern colours, the new model can be personalised in multiple ways, from seatbelt colours and contrast stitching on the steering wheel to customisable door handles and a choice of five 22-inch wheel designs.
*Combined range (WLTP): 321 - 381 miles; electric range in urban areas (WLTP): 413 - 487 miles
**Charging time for direct current (DC) with maximum charging power from 10% SoC to up to 80% SoC under optimal conditions (CCS fast charging station with > 320 kW, > 850 V, battery temperature 25°C and initial SoC 9%)
the STYLE
New for 2024, the successful SUV has been reimagined in a new colourway – Provence. Inspired by its namesake region in France, the shade is a contemporary take on lavender that makes a statement on the road. This isn’t the first time the brand has offered bolder choices in colour and trim: in 2021, its metallic Ice collection was launched in Frozenblue, Frozenberry and Coffee Beige colourways, which were well received by Porsche’s more fashion-focused drivers. We anticipate Provence is set to do the same.
Of course, the interiors count too. As well as its external good looks, the new Macan has a highly digital cockpit. On the dashboard, every component has been arranged for direct access. Made with drivers in mind, the floating display has a slightly curved form and a ‘minimalist mode’ that lets the driver see only the elements of the instrument panel that are crucial for driving.
In addition to the standard ambient lighting inside, the new Macan is the first Porsche to have a communication light to warn drivers of hazards when changing lanes or getting out. Depending on your mood, the ambience of the cabin can be changed with a selection of different colours.
Finally, there’s a choice of two-tone interiors: Black/Blackberry, Black/Chalk Beige, Black/Night Green or Black/Crayon. We think the leather package in Black/Blackberry is an elegant and eye-catching match for an exterior in Provence.
