Following its closure in March 2020, Simpson’s in the Strand will reopen under Jeremy King Restaurants. At its heart is the Grand Divan, which has been carefully restored to its Edwardian splendour – think timber panelling with marquetry detailing, deep red velvet and leather upholstery, original chandeliers and a more convivial layout anchored by high-backed seats.
