This season, I’m leaning into faux fur and textured fringing to bring depth, movement and a sense of luxury to even the simplest of outfits. Coloured leather feels especially right for now – whether it’s a statement coat, trouser or accessory – and adds an instant modern lift to any look. I love anchoring these bolder elements with chunky gold jewellery for a confident, pulled-together finish, then offsetting it all with some print. Zebra or dalmatian works perfectly, adding personality without overwhelming the look. It’s centred on the [Chanel](https://www.chanel.com/gb/fashion/collection/savoir-faire-metiers-art/) Métiers d’Art runway look – proof that quarter zips have never looked so chic, especially in that camel-and-denim combination. Modern tailoring plays a key role, with relaxed silhouettes that still feel sharp and considered, and nothing feels overworked. Leather and shearling are still front and centre but worn in a cleaner, more pared-back way – oversized coats, relaxed tailoring and layers that feel effortless rather than overly-styled. I’m keeping the colour palette deliberately tight, focusing on black, brown and soft neutrals, and letting texture do the talking instead. Accessories still play an important role but they’re subtle and considered – good sunglasses, sculptural jewellery and bags that feel timeless rather than trend-led. It’s a chance to take stock of what I’m gravitating towards and, more importantly, work out why. If there’s one clear takeaway, it’s texture. I can’t get enough of it. Any piece where the fabric has been manipulated – whether that’s through pleating, ruching, feathers or clever cutting – instantly grabs my attention. It’s that added dimension that elevates even the simplest silhouette and makes an outfit feel considered rather than throwaway. Also, my long-standing love affair with animal print is showing no signs of slowing down. From classic leopard to bold zebra, it continues to be a wardrobe staple but this season I’m also embracing bambi prints – a softer, more playful take that still delivers impact. When it comes to colour, teal and green are the shades I keep coming back to. Animal print has always had a place in my wardrobe, especially snakeskin accessories but lately I’ve been gravitating towards leopard print.
