A woven tote or raffia basket bag is non-negotiable: roomy enough for SPF, a book and oversized sunglasses, yet stylish enough to carry beyond the pool. Sunglasses are where I like to have a bit of fun – oversized frames, vintage-inspired shapes or warm tortoiseshell instantly add polish. A hat is essential too, and I find a wide-brim straw style protects from the sun while completing the look. Jewellery should stay relaxed but considered – chunky gold hoops, layered necklaces or shell-inspired pieces work beautifully against sun-kissed skin.
