The Location
Sandals Royal Curaçao is within the exclusive, 3,000-acre Santa Barbara estate on the Dutch-inspired island of Curaçao – just 15 miles from Curaçao International Airport. Famous for its vibrant culture, pristine beaches and coves, Curaçao is home to 65 spectacular dive sites and exotic marine ecosystems, making it a great choice for adventurous couples. The resort’s west-facing position on the southernmost part of the island combines nature with a full resort experience. The Resort
Along 3,000 acres on Spanish Water Bay, this is a romantic getaway with 350 rooms and suites. The Accomodation
From Melemele Walkout Suites to Sunchi Beachfront Suites, the locally inspired accommodation overlooks both private lagoons and the Curaçao coast. Sandals Royal Curaçao includes two new signature suite categories: the Awa Seaside Butler Bungalows and Kurason Island Poolside Butler Bungalows, which all come with tranquillity soaking tubs, private pools and a butler service.
The Food & Drink Offering
The resort offers an impressive 11 culinary hotspots, including eight restaurants – seven of which are new to the brand and only available at this resort. There are also three beachside food trucks and 13 bars. Some of the new concepts include Aolos, home to an open-air Mediterranean dining experience; Vincent, an homage to the famous Dutch painter with a European fusion menu; and Toteki, a food truck serving traditional Curaçao fare.
Sandals Royal Curaçao also offers the brand’s first ever off-site dining programme, Island Inclusive, which expands the resort’s all-inclusive dining options to encompass eight restaurants around the island. Valid on seven-night minimum stays, the programme is available exclusively to guests in Butler suites or Sandals Select Rewards loyalty guests who have reached Pearl status or higher.
The Wedding Package
Couples can pull together their dream day from a huge range of options, with a team of personal wedding planners on hand to help bring the event to life. From seating and cocktails to music and entertainment, each venue has all the foundations in place for couples to create their wedding.
