The Book of Hopes: Words and Pictures to Comfort, Inspire and Entertain By Katherine Rundell

In difficult times, what children need is hope. To that end, best-selling author Katherine Rundell emailed some of the children's writers and artists whose work she loved most to ask them to write something short – either fiction or non-fiction – or to draw something that would make children laugh or smile. The result was a collection of 133 submissions, full of short stories, poems and pictures from the very best children's authors and illustrators – including Jacqueline Wilson, Michael Morpurgo and Onjali Q. Rauf. Proceeds from the book will be donated to NHS Charities Together, to mark the incredible efforts of all those who worked in hospitals over the quarantine period.
