Vets In Action At ZSL London Zoo
From today until Sunday 20th February, London Zoo is inviting kids to take part in a zookeeping and vet experience. Kids can step into the role of a vet during a series of interactive family events at the Zoo’s specially recreated zoo vet centre. Junior vets will be prepped with hairnets and masks before helping experts examine, diagnose and carry out treatments on soft toys, experiencing first-hand the huge variety of work carried out by the Zoo’s vets, vet nurses and zookeepers – from microchipping meerkats to caring for a wounded lion. Tickets start from £19.50.

The Baby Show
The Baby Show returns to Olympia London next month. Taking place from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th March, the UK’s biggest pregnancy and parenting event will host over 200 exhibitors where you’ll be able to browse new products and family favourites for little ones and parents. Confirmed brands include Tommee Tippee, Bugaboo, Maxi-Cosi, Nuna, Stokke®, BabyBjörn and MAM, to name a few. There will also be information and advice available from a range of parenting experts – on topics like sleep, birth and breastfeeding to first aid, weaning and development. From today until Sunday 20th February, London’s Southbank Centre is hosting its 20th Imagine Children's Festival, with hundreds of events and workshops for families. From children's theatre and comedy to musical performances and dance classes, there’s something for everyone. Highlights include a family orchestra performance and comic book making workshop on Friday, a musical show with author Julia Donaldson and a tour of the human body with Adam Kay on Saturday, and a talk with author Jacqueline Wilson on Sunday.
