In The Know: Cool Things For Parents & Kids
Basil and Ford
Basil & Ford is made up of married couple Matt and Lucy. The duo set up Basil & Ford in 2013, when they found out they were expecting their first child. Since then, they’ve put their design backgrounds to the test, creating a range of tongue-in-cheek screen-printed stationery, enamel pins and prints. New for spring is a kid’s apparel line, featuring slogan tees with statements such as ‘Feral’, ‘Toerag’ and ‘Toast Appreciation Society’. Start ‘em young.

Toddlekind
The best thing about Toddlekind playmats? They don´t look like playmats at all. Rather they look like high-end rugs, merging seamlessly into the design of your home, while still protecting your toddler from their daily tumbles. Inspired by the geometric lines of Scandinavian interiors, Toddlemat playmats gives a patchwork tile effect. They have all the functionality of a traditional foam puzzle mat, only plusher and with a variety of designs to match your home.
