The Cashmere Care Products You Need
Our hero? The £4.50 fuzz off lint remover from Maxim. This may sound like an ad, but much like our beloved hand-held steamer we’ve recommended in the past, this is simply a team SL hero that we’re sharing with you; and this little gadget deserves to be shared. All you have to do is hold down the button and gently roll the remover over your clothes, and it collects those annoying little bobbly bits that give your knits that budget feel. Available now on Amazon, it’s the handy trick all fashion girls know for keeping their sweaters intact. Want more tips? Here are our favourite other products for looking after your cashmere…
Clothes Brush
If the idea of taking an electric devise to your expensive cashmere leaves you reeling, make sure you have a clothes brush in your armoury. It may not get all those bobbles off to the same extent, but it will effectively remove jumper fluff, excess hair and any annoying bits on lint.
Wool and Cashmere Wash
Give your cashmere some extra love with a specialist wash; Belinda Robertson’s may not be cheap, but it guarantees your pieces stay softer and protected for longer.
Cashmere Comb
For an even more gentle approach, try Pure’s cashmere comb – it will softly remove all naturally occurring pilling, giving you the same finish after just a little more elbow grease.
Wool and Cashmere Shampoo
Another wash for you – The Laundress are the experts in detergents that won’t damage your clothes, and this shampoo is sulphate free, making it kinder to your cashmere.
