Veronika’s Fashion Favourites…
If I could only shop on one street, I'd go to Via Sant'Andrea in Milan. Then, I’d pay a visit to Jil Sander on Via Pietro Verri afterwards. While Milan might be an obvious choice, it never disappoints. It has an amazing selection of brands and a real timeless charm to it.
I really want to go to Melbourne. I’ve always loved the clean and simple designs, high-quality materials and sustainable focus of Australian brands and, from what I’ve seen and heard, the Melbourne fashion scene is unique.
Bottega Veneta’s boutiques are some of the coolest in the world. Every store is so different, but each is full of bold furniture, eye-catching sculptures, vibrant tiles, and the signature Bottega green. That’s all in addition to the exquisite clothing, shoes and bags which are works of art in themselves.
The best concept store in the world is Voo Store in Berlin. Taking a playful yet sophisticated approach to fashion, its expertly curated selection of brands, engaging content and remarkable archive of vintage items make it one of my must-visit destinations.
Tel Aviv is full of independent brands. From boutiques to local labels putting a unique twist on current trends, the city is overflowing with tiny studios that sell everything from ceramics to fashion and jewellery.
Paris has the best department stores. Galeries Lafayette and Le Bon Marché top my list for incredible architecture and curated designer collections. They both offer a seriously luxurious shopping experience that's hard to find anywhere else.
Istanbul is an under-the-radar destination for great fashion. Beymen’s department stores are great for high-end designer shopping, but the city’s outlets are also worth checking out. On my last visit, I also stumbled upon a new concept store called 1290 Square Metres. Primarily offering menswear from some of my favourite brands – think Loewe, Acne Studios and Dries van Noten – I couldn't resist leaving with a few new treasures.

This season my go-to brand is Jil Sander. The creative genius of Luke and Lucie Meier never ceases to amaze me, and their SS23 collection is no exception. From the harmonious colour combinations and elegant silhouettes to the stunning jewellery, I know I’ll return to this collection time and again for inspiration.
If I could only wear one brand forever, it would be old Celine – or perhaps new Phoebe Philo? I always say buying old Celine is like buying art. I love smaller brands too. Vibi Venezia – run by Italian sisters Viola and Vera Arrivabene – is one such example. The slippers, traditionally worn by gondoliers, are so good and I also love the Mary Janes. For basics, my go-to is ARKET. Its high-quality materials, simple designs and approachable prices are unbeatable. I'll forever be obsessed with its sold-out gold ballet flats.
I recently discovered sustainable brand Bare Stockholm. Not only are all the everyday essentials sustainably made, they're designed under creative direction from Hannah Marzouki Widlund and Rami Hanna. The pieces are just irresistible.

The best fashion gift I’ve ever given is a multi keyring from Celine’s capsule collection of Christmas accessories. The best fashion gift I’ve ever received is my Étincelle de Cartier engagement ring in platinum from my husband. Naturally, it’s the most sentimental piece I own, but it’s also the most timeless one. I wear it stacked with a Cartier Love Wedding band in white gold and I’ve just bought a Juste Un Clou ring in yellow gold to team with them.
Veronika’s Tel Aviv Favourites…
The best place for people watching is the seafront. You just can’t beat its bustling energy and incredible view. There's also something extra special about experiencing it all during sunset.
My favourite spot for coffee is Dama Jaffa. It’s a cafe that was opened by my friends Ida Skovmand and Aviv Meshulam, and it’s the perfect blend between Telavivan culture and Scandinavian design. They serve incredibly delicious pastries (the clementine pie is my favourite), speciality coffee by day and organic wine by night. For brunch, go to Alena at The Norman. It’s the perfect blend of modern sophistication and classic elegance, and the menu is a delicious fusion of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavours.

A by chef Yuval Ben Neriah is my favourite restaurant in Tel Aviv. Through expert fusion of Asian cuisine and locally sourced ingredients, this is a unique dining experience that celebrates the rich diversity of Israeli cuisine, complemented with beautifully designed interiors inspired by traditional Japanese ceremonies.
My new favourite spot is The Second Bakery by Alon Shabo. I'm blown away by his pastries, which are like edible works of art. They're not only visually stunning – thanks to an unconventional mixture of colours, avant-garde shapes and textures – they taste incredible. To top it off, the bakery has cool, minimal interiors that perfectly match the vibe.
The coolest spot in Tel Aviv is The Museum of Art. It's where I feel most inspired. With three stunning buildings and a collection of modern art dating from the mid-19th century to the late 1980s – including works by my all-time favourite artists like Pablo Picasso, Joan Miro, Mark Rothko and Jackson Pollock – it's an absolute must-visit for any art lover. After exploring the current exhibitions, you can enjoy the sculpture garden with a cup of coffee or indulge in some Levantine cuisine at Pastel restaurant, which is at the far end of the garden.
The best hotel in Tel Aviv is Soho House Jaffa – from its incredible interiors to its 19th-century turreted architecture and its historic location in the heart of Jaffa. I especially love its beautiful art collection and the garden, which is dotted with 300-year-old olive trees.
