The Knitwear
A knitted style like this – with an open weave – is perfect for this brighter but still chilly period. I often use pieces like this to inject a bit of colour into my look.
The Coat
From the shape to the finish, I’ve had my eye on the denim version of this coat for a couple of seasons – but this cotton number would work with so much more in my wardrobe. I can see it with jeans, linen trousers or even cargos.
The Shoes
As soon as the weather hits about 15°C, I’m going straight back into my open-toe sandals – until October. I wore a thin thong style for most of last summer, but this year, I’m leaning towards a chunkier style again.
The Bag
This just fits everything. I’ve used it non-stop and am obviously very precious with it. I’m obsessed with the cotton twill fabric, which makes it feel much more wearable than other bags I have.
The Colour
I don’t think red is going anywhere any time soon – especially before spring or summer – but there are plenty of ways to wear it. For example, I’ll be wearing my The Row suede bag with lots of beige and buttery yellows.
The Trousers
I like elasticated waist trousers at this time of year – usually in a straight or wide leg. This Forte Forte denim wide-leg style is so effortless – perfect with a simple tee, lightweight jacket or knit.
The Trend
I’m going for a mix of textures this season. The goal is to mix my staple linens with some soft chiffons, cotton, wool and sequins.
The Co-Ord
I’ve worn all my cosy clothes to death, so the colours have faded and the edges have frayed – some even have a few holes in the wrists. Basically, it’s time to work on my spring/summer Sunday wardrobe. The pieces I tend to live in are a good pair of joggers and a sweatshirt – and this colourway is so perfect.
The Accessory
This is the kind of statement jewellery piece I’ll wear non-stop – I know it’ll become part of my seasonal uniform.
The Brand
I love Lemaire. I bought one of its coats years ago when Liberty used to stock it, and have been obsessed ever since. There’s no brand like it; it blends such an effortlessly cool and relaxed vibe with total practicality.
The Earrings
This brand has so many gorgeous pieces. I wear the red beaded bracelets all the time, and these earrings would be a great addition to my jewellery collection.
The Investment Buy
I saw these fun heels online, and am now waiting for the right event to come up so I have an excuse to wear them.
