Summer Knits
British summer evenings and knitwear go hand in hand, and I have found a selection that shout quality and style in equal measure.
The Sunglasses
Sézane never fails to deliver on affordable and classic, yet well-made, sunglasses and this year’s collection does not disappoint. A pink pair always looks great at this time of the year and a subtle cat eye design will update any wardrobe.
Jewellery
London-based jewellery designer Deborah Blyth has been creating her hand-crafted statement pieces since 2004, using the ancient process of lost wax casting. Her pieces will elevate any outfit and are a worthwhile investment that can be worn from day to night.
The New Dress Brand
I'm very excited about this pretty floral dress collection from new brand St Clair that I can’t wait to wear. Made with traditional embroidery techniques, the designs are classic and romantic.
The Linen Co-Ord
Mondo Corsini is a brand assured to bring timeless elegance to any wardrobe. This chambray skirt and top have an enduring style I can’t resist. Worn together for impact or hugely versatile as separates, I can see them being my summer staples.
The Basket Bag
Probably one of my key purchases this summer is the basket bag – at the ready to go with any outfit, from a white linen suit to a pretty summer dress. This raffia tote from B&sh is a classic example, with its Italian tan leather details which never go out of style. The handles are equally comfortable in your hand or over the shoulder.
The Blouse
If I were to choose just one blouse this summer, it would be this pretty, embroidered and ruffled design from Sézane. Style it with crisp white jeans and tan or gold sandals, or wear it to the beach with a pair of denim shorts. It promises to be one of your hardest working capsule buys.
The Sandal Collection
I’ve had my eye on a pair of Manebis for so many different options as summer footwear, but I think the strappy sandal might win. I love the light tan colour and delicate, yet comfortable design, that will complement any summer outfit.
