*The Fashion Brands*
It’s no secret that I’m obsessed with Magda Bytrum. I love her classic-with-a-twist pieces – especially the ones with the beautiful detachable 3D flowers. For something more everyday, my favourite brands include The Frankie Shop, AGOLDE and Loewe. On the high street, ARKET always has such a clean look. I’m also really into Sunspel, which my dad introduced me to. I totally get the hype now.
*The Under The Radar Finds*
My go-to summer sandals are by Nomadic State Of Mind Scandinavia. They’re made of recycled plastic from the ocean and the Slip On in ‘Camel’ is my favourite. For summer dresses, Australian brand SIR is perfect – from the fit and the quality of the fabrics.
*The Resort-Wear Favourites*
I recently discovered a brand called Same – it has so many pieces that are perfect for holiday dressing. Elsewhere, Christopher Esber makes incredibly beautiful resort and holiday dresses. I especially love the silk dresses, which will work well for summer events with a pair of heels – or with sandals for a beachside dinner.
*The Outfit Combo*
My look doesn’t really change all that much in the summer. I’ll typically put on a pair of jeans, a belt and a shirt. Then, on crisper evenings I’ll throw over a knit or blazer. Right now, it’s time for simple, pretty dresses with sandals or ballerina flats.
*The Swim Brands*
Mango is wildly slept on when it comes to swimwear. It has a tonne of cuts that will flatter a range of body shapes and lots of on-trend colours and styles. Plus, the quality is really good – the few pieces I own have lasted me years.
*The Summer Accessories*
I always bring a hat or a cap with me at this time of the year to protect my face from the sun and the Jacquemus bucket hats are such a cool choice. I also love their beach bags.
*The Sunnies*
Bottega Veneta makes such good sunglasses. The fit is great and the colour of the lens is this really warm tone – so it’s like walking around at golden hour all day long.
*The Skincare*
Skinceuticals products are an essential part of my morning and night-time skincare routine. In the morning, I also use a good SPF and the Supergoop Glowscreen or The Rudolph Care SPF are my favourites. Rudolph Care for those who don’t know is a Danish brand offering clean and sustainable products – I’ve always loved the glow-y look they leave behind.
*The New Discovery*
Rhode’s Barrier Restore Cream is definitely a surprise new favourite. I’ve also recently discovered the Korean brand Erborian and love its CC Cream – I love the lighter texture and softer coverage.
*The Beauty Staples*
Two products that will never leave my make-up bag would be the Luminous Silk foundation from Armani Beauty and the Iconic Nude Lip Liner from Charlotte Tilbury.
*The Next Destination*
My next trip is a pre-honeymoon holiday to Florence and Portofino. We plan to stay just outside of Florence to explore the city before moving over to Portofino. While we haven't planned a great deal, a boat day and a sunset picnic are high on my must-do list.
*The Favourite Destination*
The south of France is special to me because my parents have a place near Mougins – so I have a lot of lovely memories there. If you go, I would recommend a sunset drink at the La Reserve and the tapas at La Cave De Mougins. For dinner, go to L’amandier De Mougins Terrace for incredible food and breath-taking views.
*The Staycation*
For a staycation I love Tisvilde – which is a town in Denmark. It's right by the sea and it’s such a sweet village. There’s a charming hotel there called Helenekilde Badehotel, but the town is also worth it for a day trip – you can have lunch on the hotel terrace.
*The Food & Drink Favourites*
In the summer, I always have fresh fruit or berries with yoghurt and granola for breakfast. As for snacking, I recently discovered these Swedish dates, which taste incredible. They’re called Dave & Jon’s and my favourites are the ones with sour cola – I know it sounds weird, but they’re so good. For dinner, I’ll often cook fried rice or make fresh spring rolls with tonnes of veggies. For drinks, there’s nothing better than a glass of cold rosé in the sun and my coffee order is still an americano with a little bit of milk or a cortado.
The Film
I recently saw A Good Year – because my boyfriend forced me to watch it – but I genuinely loved it. My only warning is it’ll make you want to book yourself a ticket straight to the south of France.
