The Brands

My forever favourites are KhaiteThe Row and Totême. They’re all labels I go to for reliable, timeless staples with a modern edge. I also love Paris Georgia pieces – it’ll forever be one of my favourite brands. I’ve lovingly collected pieces from them over the years, and I don’t play favourites! Everything is unique, beautifully cut and just effortlessly cool. I’ve been wearing my Elemental cashmere vest a lot lately, mainly with a pair of wide-leg trousers and flats.

The Outfit Formula

My style is classic, elegant and clean. My go-to outfit formula is typically a crisp poplin cotton shirt, a beautiful pair of trousers or jeans and a belt with a co-ordinating bag and shoes. It’s effortless and cool in this warmer, but not too hot, weather. I am always in a pair of Khaite Danielle Jeans – I just really love the cut of them. They feel more elevated than most jeans I’ve tried, which makes them feel worth the investment.

I recently discovered Venroy. Its summer collection is so elegant. I just bought a pair of beautiful, ivory, wide-leg linen trousers, an ivory sheer linen maxi length skirt and an olive crochet dress from there. I can’t wait for it to be warm enough to wear them.

My favourite summer pieces are from Anna Quan and DONNIAnna Quan does the most amazing dresses and I just love how contemporary and simple her pieces are. DONNI has the most beautiful collection of cotton and linen shirting – get your hands on it before it sells out. I’ve added two beautiful cotton poplin shirts to my wardrobe, and I have to stop myself from wearing them every day.

You’ll see me in a lot of ONTE this summer. It’s a slow-fashion label I recently came across and I snapped up a gorgeous midi length skirt. It’s the Menica and it comes in both black and ivory. They’re so easy to wear with a knit, tee or shirt for an elevated but comfortable look.

The Trend

The East-West 1950s handbag trend is one I’m absolutely here for. AlaÏa, Hermès, Jil Sander, Bottega Veneta and The Row have all perfected the look. I feel like we’ve all seen it everywhere, and I’m still not over it. If you purchase the right style from the right brand, it will be a forever piece.

The Colour

I’m not a huge colour person, but I am increasingly drawn to burgundy lately. I like that it’s easy to integrate into a neural wardrobe, but still adds a little pop of something. The City Flip Flops from The Row are on my wish list – as is the Margaux bag in burgundy – both are such beautiful and timeless pieces. Beare Parks’ latest collection also has some lovely burgundy pieces; the maxi skirts are so me. I’ve also got my eye on a vintage Hermès Box Birkin in Rouge; I just love the timeless elegance of those forever pieces.

The Accessories

My Jamie Haller Penny Loafers in ivory are my perfect everyday shoe. Not only are they extremely comfortable, but they also just seem to look good with everything. The leather is soft and buttery, so they’re the perfect summer loafer.

The Row Fisherman sandals in ivory are a classic. Another on trend style I love are the Alaïa fishnet ballet flats. More than a year on, I am still loving mine. They just seem to work with everything.

One of my most prized accessories is my Hermès Herbag. I bought it to relieve my Hermès Kelly. It’s such a great, simple bag – perfect for mum life, while still looking chic. I also love my Bottega Mini Jodie. I have it in pastel blue and it’s one of my favourite summer accessories.

The Silhouette

I like a clean, tailored, classic look – think an elegant, relaxed, wide-leg suit, or just the trousers with a crisp shirt or tank. ‘Keep things simple and don’t try too hard’ is my mantra – I’m always aiming to emulate brands like The Row, Jil Sander and Camilla & Marc.

The Detail

I was exclusively a gold girl up until late last year. Now I’m really enjoying mixing my metals. It’s so freeing being able to mix both gold and silver in the same look. It seems simple, but it’s really added another dimension to my wardrobe.

The Fashion Bible

For as long as I can remember I’ve loved fashion – and my mum has had a huge influence on me in that regard. All fashion girls have a favourite fashion book, film or show – mine has to be Sex and the City. I rewatch the series over and over. It feels like you're being taken on a visual journey of late 90s early 2000s fashion. It's just so rich in every way.

The Wildcard Piece

I’m loving transparent glasses – think super oversized frames with a lighter lens. I just feel they’re a cool addition to most looks. While I don’t wear my Saint Laurent ones too often, I do find that with the right pieces, they can really take a look to the next level.

The Shopping Destination

One of my favourite stores is ReSEE in Paris. It has the most perfectly curated selection of vintage and luxury second-hand pieces. I’m not a great vintage shopper, I find it too overwhelming, so to have a store that has knowledgeable editors that do all of the ‘picking through’ and curating for you is ideal for someone like me.

The Memorable Buy

My 2008 black tweed Chanel chainlink dress I wore for my 30th birthday is one of my favourite pieces. I found it at ReSEE, and I just knew I had to have it. I wore it with the Chanel 2023 patent runway platforms and my vintage Chanel tweed double flap bag. It was just such a timeless look.

The Style Rule

I’ve always advocated dressing for your lifestyle and body shape. It’s so important to avoid being persuaded or influenced by someone who you admire, but who lives a completely different lifestyle or has a completely different body type. Another piece of advice I give my clients and my friends is to ask yourself “Is this the woman/man I want to be?” It has saved me from making any number of wild purchases. As a rule of thumb, it’s a great way to check yourself if you’re ever in doubt.
