1 The Hotel

Through CASA RAKI we try to showcase the culture and vibrant life of South America by dedicating each collection to a different place or natural phenomenon. We just stayed at the Fasano hotel in Rio to shoot the new campaign. The hotel was beautiful and the location was amazing. Just across the beach from the iconic Ipanema beach – what more could you ask for?

2 The Shoes

The Oran sandals from Hermès are my ultimate go-to in the summer. I stopped wearing heels after lockdown and now value comfort so much more. This style immediately adds a timeless elegance to any outfit.

3 The Jewellery

I always go to Daphine for affordable pieces I can switch up from day to night. I can’t get enough of the brand’s collections – the Oli and Cosmos hoops are some of my favourite pieces.

4 The Art

I’m always drawn to Lucian Freud. He was an intensely private and guarded man yet painted some of the rawest and most revealing images I have ever seen. I find them unsettling and captivating at the same time; you feel a connection with the sitter and his capacity to capture their presence is second to none. I find his self-portraits particularly thought provoking.

5 The Dress

The Lara dress in black linen is sexy and chic. Featuring spaghetti straps and a low back, the front knot makes it elegant and chic at the same time. The perfect beach-to-bar look.

6 The Beauty Essential

Black Rose Oil from Sisley makes my skin feel silky smooth and I really feel like my skin is more nourished after I use it. It’s been part of my routine for over six years, so it’s a holy grail product at this point. I love the texture and heavenly fragrance.

7 The Book

I’m a fan of Gabriel García Márquez but especially 100 Years Of Solitude. One of South America’s greatest writers, his words are magical and poignant, with such depth and nuance to the stories. I love how he writes about the minutiae of Colombian life in this book; he captures it perfectly.

8 The Scent

Diptyque Do Son is my signature scent and I love the story behind it. Romantic and exotic, it is inspired by the founder’s childhood in Do Son on Vietnam’s Halong Bay – specifically memories of humid heat, the sea and tuberose. It always transports me far away from London.

9 The Co-Ord

This look from Casa Raki’s latest collaboration with Candice Lake epitomises minimalist resortwear. I love a pop of colour in the summer and this bright yellow is such a joy to wear. These trousers would also look great with a white linen shirt.

10 The Hostess Gift

I’d recommend anything from Abask. With a focus on craftmanship and design, it has a wonderful curation of unique objects. I love the focus on artisans – you can always count on finding something special here. The tableware is amazing and I would love to do a tablescape using all of its lovely crockery and vases.

11 The Bag

You can’t beat the Loewe Puzzle bag. You can probably tell I love a classic accessory in an understated colour! I always gravitate towards heritage brands and investment pieces because I’m looking for styles that will stand the test of time. This one is both fun and functional.

12 The Camera

My Canon A-1 comes with me everywhere. I'm a photographer by trade and still try to shoot as much as possible. I love to shoot on film for the authenticity – all the CASA RAKI campaigns are shot with my Canon, so it feels very much a part of the brand. It's actually considered vintage now, so it would be hard to replace.
