On the corner of Brewer and Warwick Street, 1 Warwick is the latest opening from Maslow’s, the group behind Fitzrovia’s Mortimer House. The building is an early 20th-century mansion laid out over six floors. Architecture and design brand Fettle has restored it with chic and relaxed interiors, vintage furniture and bespoke pieces. Members can dine at Yasmin, the year-round rooftop restaurant and bar offering a menu created by chef Tom Cenci. Then there’s the living room and den for relaxed working lunches and post-work drinks, and Nessa, a bistro and bar on the ground floor. Other facilities include lounges, private and shared workspaces, events spaces and a library with its own bar. Members can use the studio and gym for PT sessions or complimentary fitness classes, including barre, HIIT 45, TRX and Boxfit. Apollo’s Muse is now open beneath Bacchanalia in Mayfair. In keeping with the restaurant’s opulent design and interiors, the space features one-of-a-kind pieces you’d expect to find in a museum, like 2,000-year-old Greek and Roman artworks, original sculptures and a marble ceiling. If you’re after somewhere more laidback, Shoreditch Arts Club out east was made for creatives and those with an interest in the arts. Designed to look like a cool art collector’s house, the space is set in a converted warehouse on Redchurch Street. There’s a restaurant, café and bar, an open living space and various working areas. Members also have access to a 24-seat cinema, complete with comfy sofas and retro lamps. The club has a rotating culture programme of installations, exhibitions and events, while the first floor has projection walls dedicated to moving image art. Richard Caring’s members club George has reopened its doors after an extensive renovation. On a corner of Mount Street, the venue is now home to Mayfair’s largest terrace (open until 1am), as well as two dining rooms, an art-deco bar with mahogany bar stools, and a private dining room with space for 16. Interiors are dark and elegant, with an impressive collection of David Hockney paintings, including his iconic ‘Afternoon Swimming’ print in the club’s entrance. The kitchen is headed up by chef Marcus Eaves who delivers classic British dishes made with local produce, alongside a long list of organic and biodynamic wines. Be sure to try the new 'George Martini' made with Absolute Elyx Vodka, Tonka Bean and Bianco Bitters.

A sister property to Maison Estelle in Mayfair, Estelle Manor was created by Sharan Pasricha, the founder of Ennismore, the group behind Gleneagles in Scotland and the Hoxton hotels. This private country club in the small Oxfordshire village of Eynsham includes access to a Grade II-listed house and over 3,000 acres of beautiful parkland. There are 108 bedrooms and suites across the main house, two nearby buildings and the new Stables and Walled Garden buildings. Guests can also stay in woodland cottages and private houses on the estate – all of which have the grown-up and glamorous interiors you’d expect from Ennismore. Among some of the most impressive facilities on this list, there’s a riviera-inspired outdoor terrace with a 25m swimming pool and shaded sun beds, as well as four restaurants including the informal Brasserie for brunch and casual suppers. Elsewhere, you’ll find grand sitting rooms, and a clubhouse designed for all your needs – think workspaces, a café, a kids club and a gym with a Pilates studio. A George Northwood salon is also in the works. Later in the year, the venue will open the Roman-inspired Eynsham Baths, a spa with five pools, a bathing hall, thermal cabins and treatment rooms.
